Sunshine, lollipops, rainbows and birthday cakes

Gave new life to some old books and turned them into cute lil envelopes. I used some stamps I hand carved to add the finishing touches.

Dear Blob,

Oh my goodness life is beautiful! The weather is just stunning, sunny and warm and it stays light til late. This weekend my little family did lots of celebrating. It is my birthday, followed by our wedding anniversary and then my husband's birthday. July has other special birthdays scattered throughout and my cat's blog turned two on my husbands birthday as well! Just thinking about all these birthdays leaves me with this song in my head.

Papergirl has been rolling along and picking up momentum as we start gearing up for the exhibition and ride out. I am having such a blast being involved with this project and the dedicated team behind it. Some haggis exploded all over the artist interview series and it was such fun. Bird on a Wire one of my very favourite stores on Main St is all decked out Papergirl style and this interview with Karen is a must read. Come say "Hi" to me at the drop in workshop coming up on the 27th at the Roundhouse. Ooooh also there are just two weeks left to send in your submissions. Don't know about you but I have to get on that!

Some other neato stuffs-

Trade School Vancouver is looking for teachers to sign up. I've been to a bunch of their classes and I love it!

"A place for Tea and Laser Cutting" has popped up in Chinatown. I haven't visited yet but the  Laser Cutter Cafe looks well worth a visit.

Oh and Catbug makes me laugh and I know he'll make you laugh too.

Some of the flowers I've met on my neighborhood walks. Oh and macaroons. Sugary treats are always a friend!
