Hello Wonderful!

I'd like to introduce you to another wonderful person! Today we are going to get to know someone I've never met before Sammy from Synthpop Circus! Recently Sammy wrote a lovely blog post about my work and after checking out her adorable blog I thought I'd see if she'd like to be part of this series. I am so glad she did and you can read her interview below!

Who are you, what do you do and where in the world are you?

Hi, I'm Sammy and I'm a crafty blogger who lives in the UK enjoying life by the sea. I recently graduated with a HND in fashion and textiles and if I am honest, I am trying to find my feet a bit in the working world! As we speak, I am currently hoping to start an adult course in support teaching and learning as well as a voluntary placement at a middle school. I also work part-time at a craft cafe hosting parties for all ages as well as a weekly children's club. When I have a spare moment you will usually find me crafting away making my own jewellery or projects for the kids club.

What do you believe in?

I believe if you put your mind to it, you really can do anything. This is something I have learnt over many many years and after all the hard work (which is still going strong!) things are starting to fall into place.

When do you feel your most wonderful?

Many things make me feel wonderful: surrounding myself with friendly faces, having adventures with my fiancé, caring for my two guinea pigs and last of all, crafting.

What is something wonderful that has happened that would have never happened if you hadn't made a mistake or a wrong turn somewhere?

If I am honest, I am finding this question really tricky. Heck, I have made a bunch of mistakes but unfortunately nothing that has led to anything all that fantastic. All I can say is learn from your mistakes and try and make them into something wonderful in the future.

What is the earliest time in your life that you can remember experiencing wonder? When was the most recent time?

This has to be holidays abroad with my mum and dad. They are some of my fondest memory from my childhood and ones where I felt in complete wonder over the world and how much it had to offer. I experienced new cultures for the first time, sites that I never knew existed and even simple things like how spiky the grass was to lie on! It was all very new to me and I completely and utterly loved it! I must admit, I am still in complete wonder over travelling now and feel there is even more to learn about the world. Even after so many years, I still cannot get over this fact and find it all so fascinating!

Who are three wonderful people you think we need to know about? Why are they wonderful?

This is so hard. I really want to say friends and family but that just goes without saying. So instead, I have decided to stick with the category of blogging as the ones listed below are currently a huge inspiration to me and my life right now.

The Dainty Squid. I have been following this lady since I first set up my blog and still follow her to this day. She always has fun adventures on her bike, wears the most amazing clothing and is always full of creativity.  She has taught me to really follow my dream and to just take some chances in life because life is too short not to.

Paige Joanna. I have had the joy of meeting Paige a couple of times now since blogging and she is someone I would like to call a friend. She has her ups and downs in life but not matter what, she comes out fighting and makes life as positive as she can. I admire her so much for this and I always turn to her blog to cheer me up if I am having a bad day. I also love all her creativity and I hope I can see her again soon to have another crafty girly day.

JillyJilly. This is quite a recent blog I have stumbled across but boy am I glad I found this little gem! I find JillyJilly a very inspiring read as this team run their own business as well as having a stunning aesthetic to their blog and general creativity. Not only that but I am beyond jealous of their home, it's too cute for words!

Thank you so much Sammy Scott! You can find her wonderful self and her work online at her blog, Etsy Shop, Facebook, Twitter Instagram and Pinterest. Want more wonderful? Check out the other interviews in the series here
